Nitchell brings more than 25 years of food service and wellness experience to her work as a functional nutrition practitioner. Her path began in the culinary world, where she developed a deep appreciation for food, culture, and the way nourishment shapes our lives. After navigating her own chronic health challenges—including long‑standing food sensitivities and allergies—she discovered the power of a holistic, nutrition‑centered approach. This personal transformation inspired her to pursue advanced training and ultimately shift her career toward helping others reclaim their health.

She is a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor through the Functional Nutrition Alliance and holds a Master of Science in Nutrition Education from American University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from Johnson & Wales University. Her work blends functional nutrition, lifestyle modification, and compassionate coaching to support clients in understanding their bodies, addressing root causes, and building sustainable habits.

Today, Nitchell partners with individuals seeking clarity, confidence, and long‑term change. Her approach is warm, grounded, and deeply personalized—honoring each client’s lived experience while providing evidence‑informed strategies that create real transformation. Through EmpowerMe Nutrition Wellness Center, she helps clients improve digestion, energy, metabolic health, and overall well‑being so they can feel at home in their bodies again.
